Jelly Delight


Basmathi Rice – 1/2 cup

Milk – 11/4 cup

Sugar – 8 tbsp

Cream – 3/4 cup

Raspberry jelly – 1 packet

Glazed cherries for garnish


Prepare the jelly according to the packet instructions & refrigerate it for 11/2 hours/ till partially set.

Wash the rice 3-4 times & soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain the water & cook the rice in milk till it becomes very soft. Add the sugar & mix. Let cool.

Grind the cooked rice along with the cream & the partly set jelly to a smooth paste.

Pour this mixture into your pudding mould/dish & refrigerate for 3-4 hours till completely set.

Garnish with glazed cherries.
