Fruit Salad

Apple – 2 numbers; peeled, cored & chopped

Grapes – 1/2 cup (seedless)

Sugar – 1/4 cup

Honey – 1 tsp

For the custard:-

Milk – 1/2 litre

Sugar – 1/2 cup

Cut the fruits into small cubes. Mix 1/4 cup of sugar with little water & make a syrup; add the fruits & mix well. Let cool to room temperature; add the honey & mix. Refrigerate until you serve.

For the custard make a smooth paste of custard powder by adding 1/4 cup of milk little by little. Mix together 1/2 litre of milk & 1/2 cup of sugar. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat & add the custard soultion to the milk while stirring continuosly till the mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Refrigerate until you serve.

To serve take a little of the fruit mixture in a glass bowl & spoon a little custard on top.
