Banana Fry with Wheat flour & coconut milk



Very ripe kerala banana – 3 numbers

Wheat flour – 1 cup

Black sesame seeds – 2 tsp

Grated jaggery – 1/2 cup/ use a cube of jaggery

Baking powder – 1/4 tsp

Thick coconut milk – 11/4 cups

Salt – a pinch

Oil to deep fry


Cut each banana into 6 long & thin slices.

Mix all the other ingredients (except oil) to make a slightly thick batter. But not too thick.

Heat the oil; dip each banana slices into the prepared the batter & deep fry in the hot oil. Drain on paper towels.
