Mix together 3/4 cup of semolina & 31/2 cups of water. Bring to a boil & cook for 7 minutes.
Add 5-7 tbsp of sugar & cook further for 5 minutes.
Add 50 grams of coconut milk powder to 11/2 cups of water & add this to the cooked rava. Mix well for 5 minutes.
Add 3/4 cup of condensed milk & mix well. Finally add 1/2 tsp of powdered cardamom & remove from heat.
Toast 25 grams of cashews & 25 grams ofraisins in 2 tbsp ofghee & pour this over the payasam. ( I used chopped shallots for the garnish).
