Crunchy Mushroom Fry

This is a very easy to make appetiser. Here juicy mushrooms are provided with a very crispy cover.

Clean 250 grams of button mushroom & cut each mushroom into 4 pieces. For the batter sift together 1/2 cup of plain flour, 1/2 cup of corn flour, 1 tsp of pepper powder, 1/4 tsp of red chilly powder, 1 tsp of soy sauce & 3/4 tsp of salt. Add water to make a batter that is neither too thick nor too thin. Dip each piece of mushroom into this batter & deep fry in hot oil on medium heat till golden brown & crisp. Drain thoroughly on paper towels & serve immediately.
