Ingredients:-
- Button mushroom – 250 grams
- Onion- 1 medium
- Garlic – 1 big clove
- Minced ginger – 1 tsp
- Spring onion whites – 1/8 c
- Spring onion greens – 1/4 c
- Kashmiri chilly powder – 1 heaping tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 heaping tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder-1/4 level tsp
- Tomato -1 medium
- Cashew paste – 15 grams
- Fresh cream – 1 tbsp
Method:-
1.Heat 2 tbsps of oil & add 1 medium onion ( finely chopped) ,1 big garlic clove (minced), 1 tsp of minced ginger and 1/8c of spring onion whites . Fry till the onions turn golden brown in color.
2. Add 1 heaping tsp of kashmiri chilly powder , 1 heaping tsp of corainder powder, 1/4 level tsp of cumin powder & 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder. stir fry on low heat for 2 minutes.
3. Add 1 medium tomato (finely chopped) & fry for 15 minutes/ till mushy.
4. Add 250 grams of thinly sliced button mushrooms & cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Add 15g of cashew/almond paste.
5.Finally add 1 tbsp of fresh cream, 1/4c of spring onion greens & remove from heat.
6.Serve with roti.
