No bake chocolate & oats bars

  1. Melt 1 cup of coarsely chopped semi-sweet chocolate in the microwave. You need to just heat the chocolate for a minute on high power.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1.5 cups of roasted quick cooking oats, 1/2 cup of roasted old fashioned rolled oats, 1/2 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter, the melted chocolate ( in step 1) , 1/2 cup of softened butter and 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased rectangular/ square mould & level the surface with a spatula.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 – 45 minutes/ till firm.
  5. Cut into bars.
