Tomato & Carrot Puri

  1. Puree 1 medium tomato in your mixer till smooth. Cook the puree in a pan till all the water evaporates. Let this cool down to room temperature.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together 3/4 cup of atta, 1 tbsp of oil, 1/4 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of red chilly powder, 1 tsp of chaat masala powder, 1/2 tsp of ajwain/ carom seeds, 1/2 cup of grated carrot & the cooled tomato paste.
  3. Knead to a slightly stiff dough adding water as needed.
  4. Make puris like you make regular puris.
  5. Serve hot.
