Oats sesame wafers for Diabetic people

Ingredients:-

  1. Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
  2. Powdered oats – 1/2 cup
  3. Salt – 1/4 tsp.
  4. Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
  5. Chilled butter – 25 grams
  6. Thick curd – 2 tbsps
  7. White sesame seeds – as required for sprinkling

Method:-

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. Mix together the wheat flour, powdered oats, salt & baking soda.
  3. Add the chilled butter & rub into the flour till the whole mixture resembles coarse bread crumbs.
  4. Add the thick curd & knead to make a smooth dough.
  5. Roll out the dough into a circle of 1/4″ thickness with the help of a rolling pin.
  6. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter & place them on a baking tray lined with foil.
  7. Brush the top of the wafers with little milk & sprinkle the sesame seeds. Press lightly with your fingers.
  8. Bake for 17 minutes or till golden brown in colour.
