Curd & semolina Battura

  1. Take 1 cup of semolina in a medium bowl. Pour water upto the level of semolina & soak it for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, squeeze the soaked semolina & keep aside.
  2. Mix together 2.5 cups of all purpose flour, 1/2 tsp of baking soda & 11/2 tsp of salt. Add 1/2 cup of thick curd & the semolina to the flour mixture & mix well. Add enough water & knead to a dough.
  3. Keep aside for 3-4 hours.
  4. Make batturas like you make puris. These will puff up.
