This is a very easy Halwa perfect to make when you have a sudden craving for something sweet. This recipe is from the MAGIC OVEN cookery show.
- Heat 1/2 cup of ghee in a broad non-stick pan. Add 1 cup of wheat flour & fry on medium low heat for 10 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of grated jaggery & 1 cup of milk to the roasted flour & cook on low heat till the mixture is thick and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
- Add 1 tsp of powdered cardamom & 1/4 cup of crushed cashews. Mix well & transfer this mixture to a greased plate. Let cool completely.
- Cut into desired shapes, garnish each piece with a cashew & serve.
