Amarapayar mezhukkupuratti

Ingredients:-

  1. Coconut oil – 1 tbsp
  2. Garlic – 1 big clove, minced
  3. Onion – 1 medium, fineluy chopped
  4. Shallots -10 numbers, thinly sliced
  5. Red chilly powder – 3/4 tsp.
  6. Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp.
  7. Salt – 1/2 tsp
  8. Water – 1/4 cup
  9. Amarapayar – 2 cups, finely chopped

Method:-

  1. Heat the coconut oil & add the onions, garlic + the shallots. Fry till they turn brown in color.
  2. Add the red chilly powder & the turmeric powder. Cook on low heat for a minute.
  3. Add the amarapayar + salt & stir fry on high heat for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the water & cover cook on low heat for 25 m inutes.
  5. Open the lid & fry on medium high heat for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve with rice.
