Instant whole wheat & jaggery palappam

  1. Beat together 1 large egg, 1/4 cup of powdered jaggery, 1 level tbsp of sugar, 1/4 -1/2 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1 cup of atta/ wheat flour, 1.5 heaping tbsps of coconut milk powder adding slightly less than 1 cup of water in your blender/mixer. Keep this batter aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat an Appachatti till a drop of water sprinkled on the chatti starts to sizzle. Pour a ladleful of batter & swirl the pan to get the batter all around. Cover cook on low heat for 2 minutes till cooked & the edges turn crisp & golden brown in colour.
  3. Serve immediately.
