Figs and Honey Pudding

Ingredients:-

  1. Dried figs – 150 grams, coarsely chopped
  2. Water – 1.5 cups
  3. Milk – 2.5 cups
  4. Gelatin – 2 tbsps (bit heaping)
  5. Cold water – 1/4 cup
  6. Sweetened condensed milk – 1 tin, 395 grams
  7. Fresh cream – 1 cup
  8. Honey – 2 tbsps.

Method:-

  1. Soak the gelatin in 1/4 cup of cold water for 15 minutes.
  2. Cook the figs adding water till soft. All the water should evaporate. Let cool  completely.Grind the cooked figs adding the milk little by little.
  3. Melt the soaked gelatin by double boiling method.
  4. To the figs paste add the condensed milk, honey & fresh cream.
  5. Transfer this mixture to a pudding dush.
  6. Refrigerate till completely set.
  7. Serve chilled.
