Easy Lemon chicken



  1. Chicken – 500 grams, breasts, cut into small cubes
  2. Garlic – 6 big cloves
  3. Ginger – 1 tbsp.
  4. Greenchilly – 6 numbers
  5. Turmeric powder -3/4 tsp.
  6. Salt – 1 tsp or to taste
  7. Butter – 25 grams
  8. Lemon juice – 1 tbsp or as per taste
  9. Kasoori methi – 2 tsps.


  1. Crush the ginger, garlic & greenchillies. Marinate chicken with salt, turmeric powder & the pounded mixture for 1 hour.
  2. Cover cook the chicken on low heat till dry. There is no need to add any water.
  3. Heat butter in a pan & add the cooked chicken pieces. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes or till browned lightly.
  4. Add lime juice & kasoor methi.
  5. Mix well & switch off heat.
  6. Serve hot with any pulao.
