Mulakaracha Kozhi Porichathu

Ingredients:-

  1. Chicken – 500 grams, boneless breasts, cut into smaller pieces
  2. Kashmiri dry red chillies – 6 numbers (soaked in hot water for 3-4 hours)
  3. Salt – 1.5 tsps.
  4. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp.
  5. Onion – 1 number, medium
  6. Greenchilly – 1 number
  7. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp.
  8. Curry leaves – 10 numbers
  9. Lime juice – 1 tbsp.
  10. Roasted rice flour – 1 level tbsp.
  11. Oil – 1 tsp. +  4 tbsps. or shallow frying

Method:-

  1. Grind together the ingredients from 2-10 to a very smooth paste. Add 1 tsp. of oil & mix.
  2. Apply this paste to the chicken pieces & leave  in your refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
  3. Heat 4 tbsps of oil in a frying pan and shallow fry the chicken pieces till done. This will take about 40 minutes on low heat for each side.
  4. Serve piping hot.
