Banana chocolate chip Loaf

Ingredients:-

  1. All purpose flour – 1.75 cups
  2. Baking powder – 2 tsps.
  3. Salt – 1/4 tsp
  4. Cinnamon powder – 1/2 – 3/4 tsp.
  5. Mini chocolate chips (semi-sweet) – 1 cup
  6. Unsalted butter – 80 grams, melted
  7. Sugar – 3/4 cup
  8. Really ripe bananas (mashed)  – 3 numbers (I had used Chiquita bananas)
  9. Eggs at room temperature,beaten lightly – 1 large
  10. Vanilla essence – 1.5 tsp.

Method:-

  1. Preheat the oven to 180⁰C.
  2. Grease and lightly flour a 2 lb. loaf tin.
  3. Sift together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder and salt. Add the mini chocolate chips and mix. Keep it aside.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, egg, vanilla essence and mashed bananas.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients & mix with a spatula.
  6. Pour the batter into the preapared loaf tin.
  7. Bake at 180C for 40 minutes & at 160C for 1o minutes.
  8. Serve warm.
