Butterless Peanut Butter and Milk chocolate cookies



  1. Peanut butter – 1 cup
  2. Brown sugar –  1/4 cup (tightly packed)
  3. Castor sugar – 1/2 cup + 2 tbsps.
  4. Egg – 1 number, medium
  5. Vanilla essence – 3/4 tsp.
  6. Plain flour – 1/2 cup
  7. Roasted peanuts (unsalted) – 1/4 cup, coaresly chopped
  8. Milk chocolate – 100 grams ( I used Dairy Milk)


  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. Sift the plain flour.
  3. Beat together the castor sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter & vanilla essence till fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg.
  5. Fold in the flour and peanuts into the mixture & mix till you get a dough.
  6. Refrigerate this dough for 2 hours.
  7. Make medium -sized balls of the dough & flatten them with your fingertips.
  8. Place the cookies on a tray lined with foil.
  9. Bake the cookies at 180C for 15 minutes.
  10. Let the cookies cool down completely.
  11. Melt the milk chocolate over a hot water bath.
  12. Dip each cooled cookie in the melted chocolate and leave it to set before serving.
