Fruity Chocolate Cups


Makes 8 cups.


  1. Chocolate cake crumbs – 2 cups
  2. Milk as needed
  3. Fruit cocktail – 1 tin
  4. Whipping cream – 1/2 cup
  5. Icing sugar – 2 heaping tbsps.
  6. Glazed cherries for garnish


  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. Grease the holes of muffin pan and keep aside.
  3. Mix together the chocolate cake crumbs and milk to make a chapathi like dough. Divide this dough into 8 equal portions.
  4. Place each dough potion into each hole of the muffin pan and shape the dough portions into a cup. Bake at 180C for 20 minutes. Let cool completely. Remove the chocolate cups from the pan.
  5. Beat the whipping cream with sugar till it holds peaks.
  6. Fill the cups with fruits and whipped cream.
  7. Garnish each cup with a glazed cherry.
