Rava coconut masala puri

Ingredients:-

  1. All purpose flour – 1 cup ( I used Wheat flour/atta)
  2. Rava – 1/2 cup
  3. Salt – 3/4 – 1 tsp.
  4. Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
  5. Shallots – 1/4 cup
  6. Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp.
  7. Water – as needed
  8. Oil to deep fry

Method:-

  1. Mix together the flours and salt.
  2. Grind together the grated coconut, fennel seeds and shallots to a smooth paste.
  3. Add this paste to the flour mixture and mix. Add enough water to make a dough.
  4. Knead well for 5 minutes & keep covered for 30 minutes.
  5. Make puris as usual.
