Easy Pepper and Veggie Rice in MW

Ingredients:-

  1. Basmathi Rice – 1 cup
  2. Extra virgin olive oil – 3 tbsps.
  3. Onion – 1 medium; finely chopped
  4. Carrot – 1 medium, finely chopped
  5. Red bell pepper – 1 medium; finely chopped
  6. French beans – 5 to 6 numbers; finely chopped
  7. Water – 2 cups
  8. Pepper powder – 1/2 -3/4 tsp.
  9. Salt – 1 tsp.
  10. Soy sauce – 1 tsp.
  11. Celery – 2 tbsps; chopped

Method:-

  1. Wash the rice several times under running water & soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain the water completely from the rice.
  2. In a microproof dish, mix together the onion, carrot and bell pepper. Cook on high power for 4 minutes.
  3. Add the rice, water, salt, celery and soy sauce to the cooked veggies and mix.
  4. Cover cook on high power for 13 minutes. Stir the rice in between.
  5. Serve after 5 minutes of standing.
