Biscuit Nut Roll



  1. Glucose biscuits/Parle-G biscuits – 200 grams (coarsely crushed)
  2. Cashews/Almonds – 100 grams (coarsely crushed)
  3. Butter – 100 grams
  4. Icing sugar – 1/2 cup
  5. Egg – 1 small; beaten
  6. Cocoa powder – 1.5 heaping tsps.
  7. Vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp.


  1. Beat together the softened butter and icing sugar with a hand mixer for 5 minutes till light and creamy.
  2. Beat in the egg and vanilla essence. Add the cocoa powder and mix.
  3. Fold in the crushed biscuits & nuts. You should get a dough.
  4. Shape the mixture into a log & wrap in foil.
  5. Freeze for 1 hour or till firm.
  6. Cut into slices and serve.
